My word for the year is courage. It came to me, I don’t know how to explain it in any other way without seeming prophetic. I ponder and weigh the use of words, constantly, I Wordle almost every day, so I guess the same weight I give to each word comes back to me with an invigorating energy. All I know is that when I slow down at the end of the year to take into account what happened and where am I going, what I need to do is right there, at the end of the tunnel.
I read in a recent newsletter that:
to start new things, you need to have a certain irrationality operating in the shadow of your conscious thoughts and plans.
Courage translates to, but not limited to:
be a chic disruptor;
have enough confidence to deliver the good news first;
steer away from normcore;
say NO with disarming confidence, like Miuccia when asked “What do you do to relax?”
to be controversial enough to appear as a paradox to some;
be sincere, because when you are you don’t need to be always right;
to rebel against the idea of cliché beauty or bourgeois good taste;
be more annoying, especially with more ugly chic outfits;
